Willie's Remedy Alternatives: 5 Cheaper THC Drinks I Tested

Willie's Remedy is the THC drink most people find first, and my full review covers why. It earns the shelf space. But the number one comment I get, on every video and every post, is some version of the same question: is there something like it that costs less?
Yes. Several. I've been mixing with the alternatives for months, reading the COAs (here's how to read one if you never have), and running the price math per milligram of THC, which is the only number that makes these drinks comparable. Here's where that math lands.
Why is Willie's Remedy so expensive?
The 10mg bottle runs $89.99 for 750ml on Willie's own site as of September 5, 2026. Total Wine usually has it closer to $70, which is the number in my review title. Either way, you're paying for three things: the Willie Nelson name, a full-size spirit bottle that looks right on a bar cart, and a nano-emulsified formula that kicks in closer to 20 minutes than the two hours an edible takes.
I've mixed plenty of Willie's cocktails on camera, from the hangover-day batch to the ranch water Q&A where the price question first took over the comments.
Here's the thing: that third part, the part that matters in the glass, is not exclusive. Nano-emulsified hemp-derived THC is a process, not a secret recipe. Other producers use the same approach at lower prices, and one of them makes their drink in the same facility.

Cost per milligram uses each brand's list price on September 5, 2026 and the serving count on the label. A 750ml spirit at 10mg per 1.5 oz pour is about 17 servings, or 170mg a bottle.

Willie's Remedy vs Grind With Gratitude: the direct swap
If you want the closest thing to Willie's in the glass, this is it. Grind With Gratitude makes a 750ml citrus THC spirit, 10mg per pour, nano-emulsified, produced in the same facility as Willie's Remedy. Same format, same dose, same onset window.
The sticker price is the same $89.99, and if that were the end of the story this section would be shorter. It isn't: code 50OFF takes 50% off sitewide at checkout, which puts the bottle around $45 and the cost per milligram at half of Willie's. I've verified the code at checkout myself.
The citrus profile is a little brighter than Willie's, which I like in anything shaken with lime. It carries a coconut margarita or a watermelon Red Bull mojito without asking the other ingredients to cover for it. Both of those came out of the video where I tested Grind against Willie's, and there's a 46-second version if you just want the price math.
Willie's Remedy vs LoDo: the budget bottle
LoDo is the cheapest THC per milligram on this page, and it isn't close. The 750ml THC Spirit lists at $32.99 for 20 servings at 10mg, which is $0.16 a milligram, about a third of Willie's. The 2 oz shots run $34.99 for a 12-pack of 10mg doses, no code required.
The catch is availability. Both were out of stock on LoDo's site the day I wrote this, so your best bet is a liquor store shelf. That's where I got the bottle of LoDo Hot Shot I used in my Sunset Clause recipe, for about $30 here in Knoxville. It's also the bottle on the counter in my THC drink ban video, because its 166mg label is the clearest example of why the per-container rule is a problem. The cinnamon heat in that one wants a build written around it, which is the trade-off against Willie's: LoDo's flavors are more assertive, so you're mixing around them rather than with them. For a cooler at a cookout, the shots are a feature.
Willie's Remedy vs Ellora: the middle path
Ellora is Crescent Canna's answer to the THC spirit question, and it gives you a choice of strength: a 5mg bottle at $50 for session-strength pours, the 10mg at $60, and a new 20mg at $70 for people who already know their dose. Citrus and blue agave profile, clean mixer, 15-minute onset per the label. The 10mg lands at $0.35 a milligram before a code, and Crescent's current code knocks that to about $0.30.
I've mixed it into sours, a bramble, and a Jack Rose, all in the Ellora video, and it holds up. There's a Ramos gin fizz riff too, if you own a shaker and patience. If you already know Crescent from my Crescent 9 seltzer review, Ellora is the same lab discipline in a mixable bottle. The 5mg was out of stock when I checked; the 10mg and 20mg were not. Willie's Remedy vs Artet: not trying to be Willie's, and that's the point
Artet is a THC aperitif built like an amaro cousin: gentian, juniper, citrus, 2.5mg per serving in the flagship at $40, a 5mg extra strength at $48, and a 10mg high potency at $60. It is the wrong answer to "give me Willie's for less" and the right answer to "what do I sip before dinner instead of a spritz."
The low dose per serving is deliberate. You can pour a second one without doing arithmetic. Per milligram it's the most expensive bottle here at the low end, and the 10mg version brings it into range with everything else. My full Artet review has the details.
Willie's Remedy vs Mission Farms Elevate: the powder option
Elevate is a different format entirely: stick packs of fast-acting nano THC powder, 5 or 10mg, in fresh lemon, blood orange, and a seasonal blackberry lime. You stir it into sparkling water, or use it the way I do, as the THC component in a cocktail spec where the citrus flavor belongs anyway: a THC Painkiller riff on the blood orange, a no-booze Penicillin on the lemon, both from the Painkiller and Penicillin video, and a THC Water Hazard for golf season. A 12-pack of the 10mg sticks is $39.99, or $0.33 a milligram, and code SHARETHEGOOD takes 40% off, which puts it around $0.20.

The appeal is portability and zero liquid volume in the build. The limit is that a powder brings sweetness and flavor with it, so it wants a spec written around it.

Will these drinks show up on a drug test? Yes. Hemp-derived delta-9 is still delta-9, and drug tests don't care what farm bill made it legal. If you get tested for work, these are not for you.
Are THC drinks getting banned? Yes, and the date is set. Federal law caps hemp products at 0.4mg of total THC per container, which ends every drink on this page as of December 11, 2026. That was pushed back from November 12 by the spending bill signed September 3, 2026, but only for drinks like these; delta-8 and delta-10 products still lose their legal status on November 12.
