5 Willie's Remedy Drink Recipes: What to Mix With Willie's Social Tonic

People land on our Willie's Remedy review asking two questions: is it any good, and what do you mix it with? This post answers the second one. These are the five Willie's Remedy drink recipes we've filmed and tested for the channel, from showstoppers to a two-minute bottle build.

1. Shotgun Willie's Margarita
No tequila means it's not technically a margarita, but this one is built to scratch that itch. The tonic already has a tart edge, so the recipe leans harder on agave than a standard marg and uses orange-pineapple juice where the triple sec would go. Muddled jalapeño puts back the bite that THC drinks usually lack. Start with fewer slices if you run mild.

2. Blue Eyes Crying in the Fizz
The project drink. It's a Ramos Gin Fizz riff, which means two citrus juices, egg white, cream, and a dry shake before the real one. A few drops of blue curaçao handle the color the name promises. Save it for a weekend when the fuss is the fun part, and give it a few minutes in the freezer so the foam sets up.

- 1 oz vanilla syrup
- 1 oz heavy cream
- Few drops orange flower water
- 1 egg white
- Few drops non-alcoholic blue curaçao

3. Willie's Remedy French 420
Our French 75 riff, with the tonic in for the gin and non-alcoholic sparkling wine in for the champagne, so the only kick left is the THC. It looks like a celebration drink because it is one. We built it for New Year's Eve, and it earns its spot any time you're easing off booze without wanting to feel left out of the toast.

- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- Non-alcoholic sparkling wine, to top
- Lemon twist, for garnish

4. Red Headed Stranger Cosmo
The weeknight pick. It's a straight cosmo riff, citrus-forward with cranberry carrying the color, and there's no technique to it beyond a shake. If someone in your group has never had a THC drink that isn't straight from the can, this is the one to hand them.

- 1 oz non-alcoholic triple sec
- 0.75 oz lime juice

5. Willie's Remedy Ranch Water
The one to end on, because you'll make it the most. Ranch water is the simplest drink in the tequila canon, and Willie Nelson is about as Texas as it gets, so the swap makes itself. Everything builds right in the Topo Chico bottle, no shaker or strainer involved.

What to Mix With Willie's Remedy
If you want to improvise past these five, treat the tonic like a slightly tart clear spirit. Fresh lime or lemon always works, agave or simple syrup balances it, and soda water stretches it into a longer drink. It slots into most shaken citrus templates where gin, vodka, or blanco tequila would do light work.
