Artet Cannabis Aperitif Review

Bonnie Mellott | July 19, 2026

Quick Verdict

Artet is a THC drink that behaves like a real bar ingredient. The flagship aperitif has genuine Campari-style bitterness that holds up in stirred drinks, dosing stays low and predictable at 2.5mg per 1.5 oz pour (also available in 5mg and 10mg), and the ready-to-drink spritzes are light and real-tasting. If you want a cannabis bottle that earns a spot on the actual bar cart, this is it.

What Is Artet?

Cannabis smoked old fashioned with skull cherry pick and orange twist next to a bottle of Artet cannabis aperitif

Artet calls itself the original THC aperitif, and that framing is accurate: this is a cannabis drink designed like a bar ingredient, not a finished seltzer. The flagship bottle is built on botanicals you'd recognize from gin production, like juniper and gentian, with real fruit juices and little added sugar. The bitterness lands somewhere in Campari territory, though the color is a lighter, natural-looking orange rather than Campari red.

Dosing is the other thing Artet gets right, and there's now a real range. The aperitif comes in three strengths: Flagship (2.5mg THC per 1.5 oz serving), Extra Strength (5mg), and High Potency (10mg), plus a 5mg single-serve bottle. With the Flagship, a standard 2 oz cocktail pour is just over 3mg. That's a genuinely sessionable dose you can build a real drink around, and you can step up from there if that's your speed.

How It Mixes

This is where Artet separates itself from most THC drinks. Because it behaves like an amaro, classic stirred-drink structures just work. We've made two so far with the Flagship strength, both filmed:

The Ready-to-Drink Spritzes

Artet cannabis-infused spritz cans: Chamomile Lemon, Strawberry Basil, and Mango Ginger

Artet also makes canned spritzes in four flavors, each available in the original 5mg THC / 5mg CBD strength or a double-potency 10mg version. They're lightly carbonated with no artificial sweeteners, 35 to 40 calories in an 8.4 oz can. We tasted the 5mg versions of three flavors:

  • Chamomile Lemon: floral and bright, a little reminiscent of a gin and tonic
  • Mango Ginger: mango-forward with ginger beer, lime, and tropical spices
  • Strawberry Basil: delicate strawberry with sweet basil and a hint of pink peppercorn

There's also a Grapefruit Rosemary we haven't tried yet, and we haven't tasted the 10mg line. The 5mg cans make dosing easy: one for a light session, two if 10mg is your comfortable spot, or grab the 10mg cans and skip the math.

Effects

Expect effects within about 30 minutes. Two 5mg cans over an evening produced a calm, easygoing sense of ease. Nothing racy and no hangover.

Where to Get It

Artet is federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill because its THC is hemp-derived, and it's carried in mainstream retailers like Total Wine as well as direct from Artet.

Pros

  • Mixes like a true aperitif: Negroni and old fashioned structures actually work
  • Three aperitif strengths (2.5mg, 5mg, or 10mg per serving) so you pick your dose
  • RTD spritzes in four flavors and two strengths at only 35-40 calories
  • No artificial sweeteners
  • Federally legal (2018 Farm Bill) and stocked at mainstream stores like Total Wine

Cons

  • THC will show up on a drug test
  • Lighter orange color than Campari if you're after that classic red Negroni look
  • Effects take about 30 minutes, so pace yourself instead of re-pouring early

THC products are intended for adults 21 and older. Effects vary by person and product. THC will show up on a drug test.
