THC Margarita with Beer Foam Ingredients
2 oz / 60 ml Calmezzi Agave THC spirit (or a non-alcoholic tequila alternative, or regular tequila)
1 oz / 30 ml Blood orange oleo saccharum syrup
1 oz / 30 ml Fresh lime juice
0.5 oz / 15 ml Blood orange juice
For the beer foam:
1 bottle Non-alcoholic Corona
1 teaspoon Salt
1 oz / 30 ml Fresh lime juice
1 gram Xanthan gum
How to make a THC Margarita with Beer Foam
Make the beer foam first: blend the non-alcoholic Corona, salt, lime juice, and xanthan gum, then pour into an iSi whip canister. Charge with a cartridge, shake, and charge again. Refrigerate for at least 45 minutes before using.
The margarita: shake the Calmezzi (or your spirit of choice), blood orange oleo saccharum, lime juice, and blood orange juice with ice. Strain into a glass, then top generously with the beer foam.
A THC margarita topped with a salted non-alcoholic beer foam, made with an iSi whip. This one was inspired by Bitter Steve's channel, and it was my third and final long-form video for Dry January. Taking the alcohol out pushed me to lean harder into technique, and the foam is the payoff: it drapes over the drink like the head on a beer-rita, salt and lime included, with zero booze. The margarita underneath follows a standard structure, so you can build it three ways: Calmezzi's agave THC spirit for a buzz without alcohol (about 6.6mg of THC per 2 oz), a non-alcoholic tequila alternative for fully sober, or regular tequila for the classic.
