Muddled jalapeño slices
1.5 oz / 45 ml Willie's Remedy
0.75 oz / 22 ml Orange pineapple juice
1 oz / 30 ml Lime juice
1 oz / 30 ml Agave nectar
How to make a Shotgun Willie's Margarita
Muddle the jalapeño slices in a shaker. Add the remaining ingredients and ice, then shake briefly. Open pour into a Tajín-rimmed glass and garnish with a lime wheel and a jalapeño slice.
It's not technically a margarita without tequila, but this one's built to capture the feel of one. Willie's Remedy has a naturally tart edge, so this recipe leans a little heavier on the agave than a usual margarita, and swaps in orange-pineapple juice for the triple sec you'd normally use.
