THC Apple Cider Sour with Ellora (No Alcohol) Recipe
THC Apple Cider Sour with Ellora (No Alcohol) Ingredients
0.5 oz / 15 ml egg white (about half a large egg)
1.5 oz / 45 ml Ellora THC-Infused Spirit Alternative (10mg or 20mg bottle)
1.5 oz / 45 ml fresh apple cider
0.75 oz / 22 ml fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz / 15 ml pure maple syrup
Edible wafer-paper maple leaf for garnish
How to make a THC Apple Cider Sour with Ellora (No Alcohol)
Separate the egg first and measure out 0.5 oz / 15 ml of the white. A whole white is too much for one drink, and doing it first means a broken yolk doesn't cost you the rest of the ingredients. Liquid egg whites from a carton work the same and skip the separating.
Add the Ellora, apple cider, lemon juice and maple syrup to the shaker with the egg white. Add three 1-inch ice cubes and shake hard, harder than you think, for 12 to 15 seconds. The foam cap comes from the egg white and the shake; a lazy shake gives you a thin layer instead of a head.
Double strain into a chilled coupe. Give the foam a few seconds to settle, then set the wafer-paper leaf on top. It sits flat on the foam and stays there.
The leaves: wafer-paper maple leaves made for cakes and cupcakes. They're flavorless, and they turn a brown drink into a fall drink in about two seconds. They need a foam head or a dense surface to sit on; on a clear drink they sink and go soft. Dry shake or not: the Ellora Sour does a dry shake first, then a shake with ice. Here one hard shake with three big cubes gave me a good foam. Dry shake first if you want it taller.
Apple cider: the cloudy, fresh-pressed kind from the refrigerator case. Not clear apple juice, and not hard cider.
Dose: 1.5 oz / 45 ml is one serving, 10 mg or 20 mg depending on the bottle. Make them one at a time, not in a pitcher, so nobody loses track. Low and slow, and wait 45 minutes before deciding you need another one.
Alcohol version: 1.5 oz / 45 ml bourbon in place of the Ellora, everything else the same. It's a maple whiskey sour with cider in it.

A fall sour with no alcohol in it. Ellora, Crescent Canna's THC-infused spirit alternative, shaken with fresh apple cider, lemon, maple syrup and egg white, with an edible wafer-paper maple leaf sitting on the foam. It's the fall version of the Ellora Sour, the drink on this site people ask me about most, with cider and maple doing the job the simple syrup and cranberry do in that one.
One 1.5 oz / 45 ml pour is one serving: 10 mg of THC from Ellora's 10mg bottle, 20 mg from the 20mg bottle. Same pour either way, so pick the bottle for the dose you want. The 20mg bottle is the better value per milligram; I used the 10mg in the video because I was shooting more drinks that day.
Ellora is one of the hemp THC drinks that goes away under the federal ban on December 11, 2026, so if you like it, this is the window to stock up. Which THC drinks are still legal to buy, and the current discount codes, are on the THC drinks hub and the discounts page.
