Lowe's Patriotic Berry Margarita Recipe
Lowe's Patriotic Berry Margarita Ingredients
Handful of fresh blueberries and raspberries, muddled
2 oz / 60 ml Blanco tequila (I used LALO)
1 oz / 30 ml Fresh lime juice
0.5 oz / 15 ml Blue curaçao
0.5 oz / 15 ml Agave nectar
Blackberry, raspberry, and a lemon wedge, for garnish
How to make a Lowe's Patriotic Berry Margarita
Gently muddle the blueberries and raspberries in the bottom of your shaker. Add the tequila, lime juice, blue curaçao, and agave nectar, then shake with standard ice cubes. Strain over pebble ice (double strain if fruit pieces bother you; I don't mind them) and top with a little more pebble ice. Garnish with a blackberry, a raspberry, and a lemon wedge.

Lowe's puts out patriotic blue mini buckets every summer, so this entry in my hardware-store margarita series leans fully into the red-white-and-blue aesthetic: muddled fresh berries, blanco tequila, and blue curaçao for color. Real talk from the taste test: blue curaçao drinks are a beach-bar guilty pleasure of mine, and the fresh fruit genuinely elevates this one above the Florida-boardwalk versions. Perfect for the 4th of July, or just mowing the lawn with something cold.
