Mexican Water Hazard Recipe
Mexican Water Hazard Ingredients
2 oz / 60 ml Blanco tequila (I used LALO)
2 oz / 60 ml Lemonade
2 oz / 60 ml Cucumber lime Gatorade
2 oz / 60 ml Squirt grapefruit soda
Tajin rim and lime wheel, for garnish (optional)
How to make a Mexican Water Hazard
Rim a tall glass with Tajin if you are using it, then build over ice: tequila, lemonade, cucumber lime Gatorade, and Squirt. Stir gently, garnish with a lime wheel, and enjoy somewhere hot.

Looking for the blue one everybody is making? That is the original Water Hazard drink. This one is the tequila version.
Want the round without the hangover? There is also a THC Water Hazard, the blue one made with a lemon THC drink mixer instead of vodka.
The Mexican Water Hazard is the tequila take on the blue Water Hazard drink, the golf-course Gatorade cocktail I built for Masters Week. This one trades the vodka for blanco tequila, the blue Gatorade for cucumber lime (the most quietly Mexican flavor Gatorade makes), and the Sprite for Squirt, the grapefruit soda behind countless real-world Palomas. Agave spirit, citrus, cucumber, and a Tajin rim. Same four equal parts, same zero pretension, built for the 19th hole or any porch that feels like one.
