Cranberry Ginger Fizz (THC, No Alcohol) Ingredients

1.5 oz / 45 ml Cranberry hemp THC spirit (I used Nowadays Cranberry; 1.5 oz is about one 5 mg dose)

2 oz / 60 ml Cranberry juice

2 oz / 60 ml Orange or pineapple juice

.5 oz / 15 ml Fresh lime juice

2 to 3 dashes Blood orange bitters (optional)

Ginger beer to top, about 2 oz / 60 ml (I used Cock-N-Bull)

Red and green cocktail cherries

How to make a Cranberry Ginger Fizz (THC, No Alcohol)

Add the cranberry THC spirit, cranberry juice, orange or pineapple juice, lime juice and bitters to a shaker with ice. Shake for 8 to 10 seconds.

Strain into a highball glass full of fresh ice. Top with ginger beer and give it one gentle stir.

Garnish with cocktail cherries on a pick, a red one between two green ones if you have them.

Juice: Either pineapple or orange juice will work. Use 100% cranberry juice or cranberry juice cocktail; the first needs the bitters less.

Ginger beer: a dry, spicy one. Cock-N-Bull is what's in the video; Fever-Tree or Reed's do the same job.

Dosing: 1.5 oz of a 5 mg per serving spirit is one dose. Don't batch it; pour the spirit per glass so every drink is the same strength.

A cranberry ginger fizz with no alcohol in it: a cranberry hemp THC spirit, cranberry and orange juice, lime, and ginger beer on top. It's a tall, bright, sweet-tart drink that looks like Christmas and tastes like the cranberry sauce side of the Thanksgiving plate. I made it on Christmas Eve with Nowadays Cranberry, working from the recipe on their site with two additions: half an ounce of lime, because the juices on their own are too sweet, and a couple dashes of blood orange bitters.

One pour of the spirit is one dose, about 5 mg at an ounce and a half. The rest of the glass is juice and soda, so this is the kind of THC drink you can hand to somebody who's never had one: it's a long drink, it takes a while to finish, and the dose is on the low end. No cranberry spirit? A citrus hemp spirit with an extra ounce of cranberry juice gets you the same drink. Leave the spirit out entirely and double the bitters for a cranberry ginger soda that still looks the part.
