Gin Azalea Ingredients
2 oz / 60 ml Gin
.5 oz / 15 ml Campari
1.5 oz / 45 ml Pineapple Juice
.5 oz / 15 ml Grenadine
Lemon wheel and cherries, for garnish
How to make a Gin Azalea
Shake the gin, Campari, pineapple juice, and grenadine with ice. Strain into a glass over fresh ice, and garnish with a lemon wheel and a few cherries.
This is my twist on The Azalea, the official Masters cocktail served at Augusta National. The original is vodka, lemonade, and grenadine — simple and built for a crowd. This version reworks it with gin and Campari in place of vodka, and pineapple juice instead of lemonade, still finished with grenadine. Same pink-orange color, same golf-ball-and-club garnish, just more going on in the glass.
