Buzz Button Mojito

Buzz buttons work differently depending on how you use them, and this mojito takes the most direct route: muddled right into the syrup with the mint, so the tingling sensation runs through the whole drink instead of sitting on top as a garnish. It's a small twist on a classic mojito build (white rum, lime, and mint, topped with Topo Chico instead of plain soda for extra minerality), but muddling the flower in changes the whole experience compared to using it purely as a garnish or infusing it into the spirit itself.

If you want to see the actual plant, buzz buttons (also called toothache plant, electric daisy, or jambú) are easy to grow at home. Mine's been thriving in a pot on the patio.
