Ocean Water (Blue Ranch Water) Ingredients
1 bottle Topo Chico
2 oz / 60 ml Blanco tequila
0.5 oz / 15 ml Blue curaçao
1 oz / 30 ml Fresh lime juice
0.25 oz / 8 ml Agave nectar
How to make an Ocean Water (Blue Ranch Water)
Rim the bottle neck with coarse salt. Pour out about 3 oz of Topo Chico, then add the tequila, blue curaçao, lime juice, and agave nectar. Swirl gently until the color turns a bright ocean blue, and drink straight from the bottle.
This one isn't a Cocktail Underground original. The blue Ranch Water idea comes from Reddit user u/junglehaus, whose version got passed around for its bright color and easy build. Blue curaçao takes the place of a splash of the usual citrus liqueur, turning a Ranch Water bottle into something that looks like it belongs on a beach.
